Why am I a Healer?
I love being a channel for light and I have seen the results with my own eyes.
Let me tell you a story that goes back twenty odd years… I was pregnant with my second child. I didn’t know he was a boy until he was born, but I did know that he had complications with his kidneys from my twenty week scan.
The doctors got more and more concerned about him as my pregnancy went on and they decided they had to do a caesarean and deliver him ahead of his due date.
Following his birth they told us he had renal pelvic dilatation (dilated kidneys), showing a sign of obstruction in the kidney/bladder system.
When the consultant paediatric and neonatal surgeon found the obstruction she told us if he didn’t improve he would need an operation.
I felt utterly helpless and couldn’t bear the prospect of such a little person having to go for surgery. I decided there must be something I could do and that is when it came to me – the idea of healing – I didn’t know a lot about it but I had an absolute sense that it could help.
I found a one year course with the Holistic Healers Association (HHA) and a wonderful teacher called Kate Lawrence. Every week I did my training and finally, when she said I was ready, I began healing my baby boy as he slept, night after night after night for many moons, until amazingly he was given the all clear.
I will never forget that day.
On a routine hospital visit, the consultant shuffled her notes and then, looking a little befuddled, went out of the office saying she needed to talk to her colleagues. She returned sometime later. She shook her head, shrugged in disbelief, pushed her chair back and said, ‘I don’t understand, but it has gone!’
We never had to go back for any more treatments. He has never suffered from any issues with his kidneys since and he is now a strapping healthy young man.
